It is tied to auto rarity/type sorting in bags options if I remember correctly.

Long term solution is to simply not use em at all for now.

Short term is to move the "jumping" items to your main pack.

Automatic sorting was not working properly last time i checked anyway, so I keep mine off and manually sort the bag contents. Haven't got the problem in months now.
