What I proposed was that you either buy it or you dont. If you think you can change big business by refusing it, youd have to be the most naive person on the planet. If you could get a majority percentage of consumers to refuse it, then you might get them to change, but then youd see cheaper games with even less content and substance then before. But that'll never happen.

You don't want to support a game? Fine. Don't play it. If you can't afford 20 bucks for a DLC then you probably shouldn't be playing it anyways.
People actually expected a lot more from this game, as it uses a license of a universe that is vastly expansive and intricate. A lot of people didn't feel 60 bucks was the price to be paid, if the game itself only allows you to play 4 factions (excluding the pre-order Chaos army here, as it'd only add insult to injury). To charge an amount for a DLC that does not feel as if it's deserving of such a price, while implyimg there is a a lot more similar DLC on the way, is going to end up making the 60 dollar base game go up to about a hundred for the full experience, coming months later. I decided to support CA, yet only paid 40 bucks for a CD key, since it did NOT justify a 60 dollar price tag. Especially not with all the bugs and game-breaking bullshit I've come across so far. Almost made me want to refund, twice.

As a consumer, you have a right to demand a certain standard to justify a demanded purchase price. Especially in the gaming industry, the consumer feels more and more taken advantage of; left without an actual free choice in the matter as these DLCs keep degrading as their price only increases. Of course people always want more for less, but there are examples of people willing to pay much more for a certain thing which a game will never have. Even on this server, people are willing to pay while not having to.

"if you can't afford it, you shouldn't be playing it anyway" - this is why piracy exists. To determine whether something is worth paying for, to play. People don't want to support certain game developers, and mostly publishers, since they are the ones dictating the same prices for less content.
Ryan! I told you not to buy Total War games on release! ALWAYS wait at least one year.
They will get a lot of DLC and Fan Made Mods later, which make the overall experience much better . Also They are full with Bugs in the beginning.

This one actually had a smooth launch and has a ton of mods that add more units

Completely unhappy with this game. Beyond repetitive and really boring for the amount of money I spent. Worst purchase to date.

Unfortunately I found it boring as well. I played for maybe 2 or 3 weeks.

I was hoping there was a much more in depth city system. In fairness was my first Total War game. However I felt the city system which is what I love about RTS was completely lackluster.

And that's the grand majority of the price, that's map design, it's new mechanics specific to the campaign, it's silliness that wasn't asked for. I just wanted my faction, its personal mechanics and maybe some additions to the overall campaign, like the beastpath.
I LOVE the beastpath idea, and sincerely hope it's available for the grand campaign.
Point being, I like Beastmen, I like the faction, I want it, but I don't want to spend money on the mini-campaign that I'm probably only gonna play for an hour and a half anyways.

Beastpath is literally a "reskinned" underway mechanic

I have 2 agree as well. I loved WFB and still love ROR and I'm a huge fan of the Old World but this game is boring 2 me. IDK. Maybe it was too much hype in my own mind. Too much expectations.

I think it's the because winning is a bit easy. Between the confederation mechanic and poor AI the battles cease to be challenging quickly.

Meanwhile im dealing with a turn 4 confederation between brak varr and dwarfs which is about to result in them shitting out 3 dwarven armies while on the dwarf side of things im facing a waaagh from grimgor and his army already becuase he kept sacking iron rock with a scabby eyes army looking on waiting for grimgor to sack so that they can claim

I felt greenskins and dwarfs were the easiest campaigns. Free 20 stack armies from Waaagh!ing all over the place and dwarven copters and artillery just annihilate greenskins/undead/chaos, and dwarven economy? More gold then I knew what to do with.

Chaos and Empire seems to be a little more difficult, but I managed a chaos campaign with a little bit of strategy changing. And learned the hilarious thing that is a Kholek stacked with 9 shaggoths, and 9 ogre regulars, and a death sorc. I felt bad for anything that tried to counter charge them.
