Well.. It's EA.. The true is EA company was going down, they needed to shut down this games, because their profits was only in million dollars.. When you're greedy just like this morons from this company, even one dollar matter.

Well from my understanding (3rd party information, and rumors) Games Workshops wanted alot more money to renew.

EA as always treated the game as a cash grab, rushing development and not spending money on advertising and engineering.

One of the biggest factors on why WoW has survived all the **** they've released is because they have advertising bringing in new blood. War didnt, neither did DAOC (Previous mythic entertainment release for those uninitiated)

That ultimately leads to a stagnation and death of any product. ESPECIALLY one focused on the social aspect of gaming.. Cant be an MMO with out the MM... Am I right?

Right, because we have NEVER discussed about this before. Not in a bazillion threads back on live when the shut-down was announced. And definitely not in RoR; I am sure this is the first thread of this kind... right.

WAR died for several reasons. There is no point discussing about it anymore. Move on. Let go.

Why so salty?

Some threads make me mad. Specially when there have been a thousand of them before, with every single point already discussed. I can't help it. A few examples:

- Why did WAR die?
- We need a lockout timer for x-realmers
- Is the server down?
- Can we haz a third faction plz
- We need a lockout timer for x-realmers
- Can we donate money to the RoR team?
- Bring back the old RvR mechanic, I want to flip empty zones pls
- X-realmers, i have a solution: lockout timer
