Hello fellow friends,
seems that some of us new folks will finally be able to try the game again (after nearly 8 years for me!).
Destro DoK here back from live, I'm really looking forward to the nostalgia.
Props to the devs/staff !!
See you in game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome!
Just a heads up, servers are down for now. No specific ETA though.
You are not alone, I Would say the majority of players here were from the old game.
What server were you on?

I cannot even remember this mate
all I can post are two very old screenshots of some late PVE raid

I really loved both PVE and RvR, the game felt really comprehensive to me in terms of content. I really missed it, I remember uploading those pics after a great time spent in that instance (which I now remembers is called bastion stairs).
Those were early days of WAR (Nov 08) and the instance wasn't finished, somehow the bosses were bugged and we weren't able to complete the dungeon.

Re: STOKED AS HELL
I honestly can't wait for the PvE instances to be added - bugs and all! Some of the most fun I had in the game (and one of the only places where a Magus can actually shine!)

Re: STOKED AS HELL
Lost Vale raids where its just you and a your guildies hoping you dont **** up on the aggro all day. Good times.

I know, I really want some Lost Vale action more than anything else honestly.

Re: STOKED AS HELL
Bastion Stairs was one of the earlier instances, you got a decent'ish healing weapon from it IIRC. It wasn't meant to be a hard instance, but the bosses were incredibly buggy, which sometimes made it one of the hardest if you weren't bag racing. Was fun.
