Need help how to get help :)

Hello everyone,

After one minute in the game it crashes, so my simple questions is: how the get/create the necessary log files for further investigation?

Does it say anything when it crashes or is it a strait Crash to Desktop with no warning etc.

is it consistently 1 Minute exactly from getting into the game? or does it also crash at Character Selection screen?

Can you post your system Specifications?

If you proive an error code and a DXDiag might be helpful.

It may be only 30 seconds as well to be honest. It only crashes in the game, not in the character selection etc. No error message at all, no error window etc., just a direct disappearing. Additionally, I'm running it under Mac OS X with Crossover (finally got it running) that's why I'm wondering if there's a possibility to get the game to write log files.

Ok, narrowed it down: as soon as I turn the char the crash happens. Let's see if I can find out why.

Try leaving the guild if you're in one or disable all add'ons.

Tried both, didn't help. Every time I think I found out why I find out it isn't, like turning the camera, interaction with npc, fighting, etc. Will dig further, especially since I want to get it running for all the other mac players

Ok, now it get's really weird. I got to play for about two or three whole minutes (wohoooo!) when only using the mouse to move using one of the side buttons for autorun. But as soon as I moved to character to look which creatures are following me - BOOM, crash again.

So it seems that when I somehow turn the camera using the mouse or using the keyboard to move/turn around, the crash happens after a few seconds. Very weird. Lowered everything in the graphics to the lowest bit. And now I will continue digging!

My guestimate would be it's related to packet server/client issues. It will need to be looked into by the development team.
