No option to create character?

I did this with no luck.

Am I suppose to patch the game prior to launching? My patcher isn't working I get this error:

"The patch was unable to update the file (0 total errors encountered.)
Please ensure the game is not already running and there is free space available on the disk."

You're meant to use the Return of Reckoning launcher. You can find it via the "Download game/launcher" link, at the top of the web page.

I have the ROR launcher. There's a patch exe file in the files that were unzipped, wasn't sure if it was meant to patch the game prior to loading the launcher or not.

You wont be able to patch the game anyways, since there are no Servers to connect to

What elven meant:
Remove all Warhammer files.
Create a new folder.
Unzip your archives into the new folder.
Unzip/Copy your RoRLauncher into this folder.
Right click on this folder and remove the ReadOnly (write protection).
Start RoRLauncher and only The RorLauncher.

I deleted everything and unzipped 3 times.

Adding the launcher and game to AVG seemed to do the trick - I'm guessing it was blocking it from connecting to the server.

Ah i thought that avgn only was blocking the old launcher, but good that you found your solution then? Or still got problems?

I`ve downloaded it via torrent and have the same missing buttons, what can I do?

my game was downloaded unzipped via torrent and has that problem . Direct download could fix this maybe ?
