Ah, that makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the advice. Would it possibly be worthwhile to swap out Punishing Knock for Shield Mastery? I would think that it would make you quite a bit tankier. Wouldn't a good healer self cleanse that heal debuff pretty quick?

Doks cannot cleanse it and you will be surprised in how many scs destruction only has Doks as healers in it.

Besides, most of your debuffs are also curses, use them before the healdebuff to cover it from cleanses.

Spec wise, once you get full anni and rr 40, i would run this:

Bloodi,

Doesn't that build require RR 50? Am I missing something here?

You are missing Full annihilator, which gives, IIRC, 1 extra mastery point to the middle tree.

Leveling up my IB now, what is the general consensus on SnB vs 2h? Assuming SnB is still superior?

I skimmed through the skills and I really dislike the Oathstone/Shield mastery specs. Oathstone damage seems nice but really unconsistent to get on the correct target and shield mastery does not seem like the best option for a slot either.

2h is viable for sure, and more fun than SnB IMO, but SnB almost certainly superior, aye. Wouldn't go that far up in Vengeance if you're not grabbing Cave-In. Grumble'n'Mutter probably a better bet than the added points in Veng, unless you're gonna go 2h.

told you so! is an underwhelming tactic thats not wroth it, WPs or KOTBs can provide your group with ap far better than you giving 25 points every time you crit, its too situational and a waste of a tactic slot

the ICD of 3s dosnt make it good either

Let's presume at we can actually trigger it once every 3 seconds
We are giving out 25 AP/3s. Say your group runs Kotbs Slayer Slayer RP WP and you, that leaves 4 people that need AP, excluding you and WP. So 100 ap/3s.

KotBS: 20 AP/5s. Even when we are not consistent on critting every 3 seconds, we still should be able to get more AP than a knight. Plus, an aura seems more worthwhile than a tactic slot. The AP degeneration of the Aura is decent but we are talking strictly about AP gain here.

WP: 25% chance to give 50 AP- even assuming you are healing once every GCD, that still only gives 50 AP all 4 casts. Even when spamming groupheal that is "only" 50 AP/6s and keep in mind that spamming groupheal is not sustainable at all.

I don't see how the tactic is worse than KotBS or WP

Hey guys,

I have a question about IB's. How do they compare to BO's? I know they aren't mirror classes but im considering rolling a 2h IB because I have always liked tanky MDPS but I dont want to roll a Choppa/Slayer.

How does their end game damage compare to other classes with a 2h? Do people throw a fit when they see you using a 2hander instead of SnB?

No fit... 2H IB are using a very standard build. The damage is fine. The common saying is that they are better DD than knights but less good DD than SM.

For easiest tank damage, go SM. For good looks and awesomeness go IB.
