problem with name

Hi, i tryed to change my name but now all is going bad - nobody is able to replay to me on private send, nobody can invite me and addons dont working more then before.
May anyone help me pls?

This will be addressed in a future patch, you added an invalid letter in your name, thus people cant reply to you and the game does not handle it really...

GMs cannot help you currently either since we cannot access the invalid character.

The patch will address the issue of accepting invalid characters that the server inherently does not accept. Your character will require a dev to intervene directly to fix it and will not be a result of the patch itself.

so after next patch there will be no problem for me to change a name of a character to something containing the letters "Å", "Ä" or "Ö" for example or would that still require the assistance of a gm and thus we should not rename our chars with names holding those types of letters?

WAR does not accept special characters. The name change function will patronize you if you attempt to use these, because they are blocked by the standard create name dialog and no players have them in their names, and thus anyone of RR40 should already know they are banned.

a tad confused but from what you just wrote i take it that those type of letters still wont be possible in names.
there was no problem creating characters on live tho with "Å, Ä, Ö" however although that might differ with the launcher with EU/USA perhaps?

Well so far I have not seen anyone with a legitimate name that contained a special character, and if such characters are used in a name, the client crashes upon receiving them. So, well...
