I love this game and im super happy that people are taking the time to keep it up and running at all. That being said, it doesnt make anyone an enemy for speaking up about their thoughts on how to deal with problems like this or frustration against something like this happening. I personally would rather deal with some people having a renown rank/gear advantage in RVR for a bit while possibly figuring out another way to find out who did benefit from the bug and fixing it specifically rather than myself and hundreds of other people losing hours and hours of time and frustration invested. Its not enough to quit over...but it is enough to try to be heard.

ROFL. So, you'd be cool with having toons at RR80 already due to abusing siege equipment, with thousands of emblems/medallions just sitting and waiting to get BiS gear the moment it is released, able to buy whatever they want cause they have 100k's of Gold? Really? You would prefer that over less than a 24hr rollback? I call shenanigans.

They aren't rolling you back weeks and weeks. It's not a wipe. You "lost" a day. Do you actually gain anything from this game? Any RL money being taken from your wallet? Did your GF get taken back with the rollback as well?

I honestly don't understand the complaints... Sounds like some people have very easy jobs/lives... Which I guess might not actually be a bad thing...

And the bug gave people not only renown but also tokens...and tokens can be progressed into toher parts of the game...currency and crafting goods.
These goods can furthermore transported into Auction house and band,guild vaults etc.

So if char a gets tons of medallions,buys gear to salvage,makes talismans,talismans sold to other players, gold used to buy other stuff from other players...you see how such a bug can spread outside of the people actually affected by the bug?
Not to speak of just buying set gear and place it on the AH/bank/guild vault to just safe them from a character rollback

UH, yes i would? Im on a reroll toon as it is, im starting from scratch. I have done so multiple times on live while people are already RR80. that is part of this game? I understand its unfair but there MIGHT BE A BETTER FIX is what ive suggested. Rather than losing 10+ hours of mostly grinding and farming for hundreds of us who did not take part or benefit from that. Is it so hard to believe that might be possible?

Some people here act like they want to impress Devs. Dabbard if you have nithing to say beside bullshit reallife comparsions, then you should not reply at all. Beside people who are not amused with this, your kind of cocky bullshit posts does not help to make them feel better.nor does it make the devs givin you a medal. Talk to us on a non insulting basis or let it be. Because you are stealing peoples time not vice versa as you accuse in your crap posts!

Also, I think you honestly really don't understand. As you said. But I believe you can if you try. As someone stated on the first page of this thread, time is the most valuable commodity any of us have...not money...not a gf (really no need to be a smart ass here) and when lots and lots of people lose time, theres going to be some blowback. I would gladly pay to play on this server if that were possible. I would make a substantial donation if I could. However, I work 60 hrs+ a week (yea my life and my job are so easy...) and how I spend my free time is important to me, and I am certainly not alone in that.

If it were possible (practical), they would do it. Do you think they don't understand how painful this is to the players? Of course they do! If they say there is no way to fix it outside of a rollback, there isn't.

Everyone, EVERYONE complaining about how "unfair" this is is just being selfish and childish. I swear, I think by far the most difficulty the Devs face working on this game isn't the code itself but rather the petulant adolescents who play it and act like they are owed something. They have given you a gift, free of charge, EVERY TIME YOU LOG IN. If you don't like it you can always go hunt Pokemon or something.
