[EU/RU] 6V6 Event - Sunday 23/10 @ 19:00 GMT

Due to popularity of last event, I am not going to be hosting a 6v6 Tournament: BLOODBATH. Please register your team there for more details.

Rules

1. This will be a T4 only event.
2. Events will be held in a locked zone, if the zone unlocks the event can move to a locked zone by popular choice.
3. Events will be held in one of these zones: Chaos Wastes/Reikland/Black Crag/Kadrin Valley/Caledor/Eataine
4. Events will be held at flat open midway points between the destro & order warcamps in RvR lakes in these zones.
5. If you come to spectate, please ensure you abide by the rules (no damaging/CCing other spectators, or going into the fight zone)
6. One 6v6 will occur at any given time. Once the winner is decided, two new teams will play.
7. To win the 6v6, you must have killed all 6 players of the opposing team.
7. Most important: if you register to participate in this event, you will be expected to be ready upon hearing when your fight has been arranged. If you are AFK for longer than 10 minutes/doing scenarios, you will be disqualified.


* I am hoping we can use Eataine for the event as Chaos Wastes has some very jagged/non-flat ground. Any objections to this should be followed up with reasoning as to why.

(Hopefully) EATAINE. If this is not available, then we will go to CHAOS WASTES.

What must I do to join?

1. Post a comment with the name of your guild, the guild leader's name, and the side you can play on (if you can play both sides, let us know)
2. Only post if you are 100% sure you can amass a squad for the event, lest people take time off work/etc for nothing.

Can i suggest Sticky post till the event is over for this thread?

Also i would like to promote the event also for casuals to try out.

1. I think competative players might have bad reputation in eyes of casuals, thus they are reluctant to come try out of fear of ridicule

2. They can fight other casual groups and get the "knowledge" what is it, to fight as premade. And if they want to, try out fighting more experienced group. Maybe even having some experienced player to lead them just 1 fight so they get a grip of "how to"

3. This will build confidence of casuals and skill base, thus making more competative mentality for players in server. More skilled players = more fun this War is.

I dont know how to exactly promote this to casuals, might be need help of GMs for this. What are your thoughts?

IMO, your best best of introducing casuals would be to require the 6 mans to take at least 2 players who both sides agree are "casuals". Or just having 1 person experienced running 6 mans leading all casuals. You get my point, they will learn quicker if they hear and experience it and it's kind of addicting.

Good suggestions. The more interest we can get, the more likely it is we can try out some new players and give people, who otherwise perhaps wouldn't have been presented with the opportunity to take part, a taste of 6v6.

Legion of Boom will be there. I like the idea of having maybe 2 experienced MA's make an group for both destro/order with players who maybe never tried to 6v6. Acctually the idea got me pretty excited and i would be down to make an order group for it.

In regards to the pug 6v6: I am thinking we could organise it, and have a few captains from different guilds, after the 'main' 6v6 event is over? Would be ideal.

LF more intrested guilds and players for the event. More there are, more fun it will be for everyone.

I like the idea about "first half" of the event all and whoever guild fights others as main event. "Second half" casual groups practice against each other with the help of experienced.

Any GM/Dev could put sticker on this thread? Hard to promote when it is not even seen on main index.

BUMPING to amass more interest. Pretty sure more guilds will turn up on the day, but the more interest stirred now the better we can anticipate how to approach the event.
