just thought i'd pop in and say hi to everyone. used to play on the old mythic server way back. still have the printed book i bought with the pre-order or special purchase when it came out long ago, lying around somewhere; an atlas i think hehe.

read a bunch of threads and topics and really looking forward to just being in and experiencing the warhammer world like before. had lots of fun just making all sorts of alts and playing and farting off doing whatever wherever hehe. didn't get a chance to progress to high end as i was still in WoW at the time and being end-game raider there was more like job with weekly responsibilities that chewed up so much of the week lol.

stumbled across RoR as playing total war warhammer got me itching and thinking about old days of playing WAoR.

Not sure what toon I'll roll first lol. server was down last night after i got done torrenting the game files.

i do remember the official game when i stopped playing was riddled with bugs abound. Are BW's playable again or still a liability in RvR? I remember Mythic/EA nerfed BW's so much that a "grey" wiffle bat was deadly to them. BW's were insta-gibbed and then it was 5v6 and auto-win for destruction.

Curious. the server is in english but there are multiple language downloads. will i see actual french or duetsche in chat or does the server translate for everyone?

Mostly it is english, there is a russian channel but you can deactivate it with a rightclick on the chat. Sometimes you will read other languages in the common chats, but as said, it is not that common that it would be a inconvinience.
