Alaric - Dawi before, Dawi again

Hello everybody !

First of all, English is not my mother tongue. Sorry for the mistakes.

For at the very least a year, I've been wanting to join this server. But the last two weeks of nerding on Total War Warhammer have convinced me finally go for it.

Long story short, long time Warhammer fan (started when I was 13, some 12 years ago now). Couldn't wait for Warhammer Online, played the hell out of the beta. Then the game was release, and I played it a LOT.

Though I quickly became ... Bored would not be a correct word. I'd say "burned out". I loved the concept of the Dwarf Engineer, but to be honest, I was fairly bad at it. Spec'd fully as a Rifleman, so I just kept dying, especially in RvR. Didn't want to play anything else, though (was young and stupid). Eventually, I stopped, and only came back from time to time until closure ; Though I still loved the Warhammer IP.

I feel really lucky that strong-willed players took on them the burden of keeping a server going. I wish there still was a Tabula Rasa private server, but that is another story entirely. This is for me a second chance to enjoy Warhammer Online, almost 10 years later, being (i hope) more mature, and with a lot more experience of MMORPGs.

Real life being what it is, I don't think I'll be geeking out too much. Don't expect me to be a hardcore player. But I'll play once in a while, and do my part to hunt the bugs.

I'll definitely make a Dawi (dwarf) character again, though this time I might go for an Ironbreaker (they look so cool).
Will probably do a Destruction character to discover their storylines, also. Thinking about a Choppa' or a Magus.

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to be a part of your community, and playing with you again.
Order players : It will be my genuine pleasure to hold the line for you. The defenses will hold !
Destruction players : Don't be surprise if, while questing, you find a random Ironbreaker exploring the Order NPC bases in your leveling areas. But be prepared : If you attack any Order NPC, that Dawi WILL fight to protect his people.

Already read all that before signing up

There is one question I have, though. About progression.

I understand that if for some reason a character "crashes", you won't hunt down every single one of its possession for the player. Too long and time-consuming.

But if, for exemple, I am level 40, and my character is destroyed because of a bug ; Am I expected to start again at lvl 1 ? Can I just ask a member of the staff to boost a new lvl 1 character to lvl 40 (even without gear), so I won't have to grind again dozen and dozen of hours ?

characters should not crash toa point that its gone, should not happen anymore to my knowledge so that should be fine
