[KOBS] Arcing Swing to short duration

Arcing swing currently is to short duration compared to live, 10s instead of 20s.

With the recent nerfs to S&B KOBS i think this ability needs a fix, maybe it would also make 2hand kobs more attractive.

Im posting here hoping for a quick fix since this is something i think both mine and other guilds will be looking in to use.

I gathered some evidence to showcase.

I think the 20 seconds duration was changed in one of the original server nerfs.
On a side note, looking at last video where a really bad kotbs which not even use twister for chain 3 auras all the time, is killing 5 players alone...I don't think is a good example for ask for a 100% duration boost from 10 seconds to 20 seconds in that ability.

KoTBS is not exactly the weaker tank, and i don't think he need any boost.

Confirmed should be 20 seconds, fixed in next patch.

That escalated quickly.

No 75 page debate about the ramifications to balance. Nope.

KotBS ability was X on live - fixed next patch.

Chosen Rending Blade was 360° with zero cooldown on Live. If I post videos will it be back to normal in the next patch? lol

That has kind of been the policy around here if you haven't noticed.

I don't agree with the internal CD nerf of witchbrew for instance, but that's how it was on live and it got nerfed. If you want what is largely just a QoL improvement to mirror chosen's blast wave duration to get nerfed then make a proposal.

Ohhh i remember the Helicopter Chosen spamming rending blade having 500k dmg in a SC and killing whole warbands alone.
Seriously, RB was changed in 2009 i think, it hasnt been the helicopter ability for very long.

We'll if this would have made it to balance forum I'd point out that.

AS isn't cleanable by group cleanse while BW is.
(Indirectly making M2 group clns even more "must have")

So one gcd gives 20s with 80-90% hp pool for nearby destroy unless some zele (with tactic) spends 10-20s or plus 160-400+ APs to ST cleanse it. Shamans aren't even considered here for obvious reasons.

But hey it didn't so never mind :)

This is a mistake confirmed by the client and will be corrected. If you want it changed you will go through the balance forum. As previously stated, that is policy.

You should read the balance forum rules. Let me show you:

1 - Ensure that classes are performing as they did on live. This is the fundamental requirement to begin fine balance changes which affect specs commonly used on live, as opposed to ones that buff underpowered specs. We must ensure that no bugs exist in a class and that its mechanics, abilities, tactics and morales function as they did on live, existing balance changes notwithstanding. Please note that this includes bugs that existed on live. Issues such as Piercing Bite will be fixed in this step.

In other words, first skills are fixed and THEN we talk about balancing/changing them.
