UPDATE: Mighty Soul is not working correctly in RoR. It, and any other tactic which affects abilities in a spec line, does not affect any buffs. This has been resolved for next patch. Time to test Mighty Soul again, then.

I am really curious about this, could you clarify? Mighty Soul makes abilities in Glory do elemental damage, what do you mean by it not affecting buffs? What exactly is the RoR-specific bug?

Yeh, I too remember glory knights as being very, very strong on live. But then I think they got a slight nerf. After which they were still viable. Still wondered why everyone ran conquest on RoR, I guess this is the answer. Now that mighty soul has been a little revised (as per what Penril said), can anyone please report here if Glory is viable? Or if I misunderstood and he meant it will be resolved in next patch, can someone report then?

It is honestly pretty illuminating, because I built a kotbs completely with glory in mind and noticed my dps is damn sub-par, specced conquest and it instantly rose. Which kind of sucks, because glory feels more KOTBS-y, bashing enemies with your big sword is swordmaster territory, bringing the fury of the sun onto your enemies in blazing displays is where we shine (pun intended)

WHat is excaly bugged with Mighty soul? It doesnt work with resistance aura or what? Didin't quite get it

I assumed it wasnt converting the skills to elemental damage.

There is an issue causing many buffs not to have a mastery tree association for the purpose of events which check mastery tree association for damage, and for tactics which affects buffs and abilities of a particular mastery tree.

There is also an oversight which causes tactics and modifiers designed to affect buffs of a particular mastery tree not to work at all on them.

I believe this will be fixed in the next patch. However, keep in mind it is not set in stone. But expect a fix soon.
