This is true, the server had like realm full every night the 2 week before the down; after the re up there were max 200 ppl online. Blame ddoser not dev for that. We also had due to this population reduction an increase of unbalance on ORVR.

With population drop it seems OP is realting to drop in population in last several weeks and not to drop caused by DDOS in spring (? I havent played then). Not sure why you're still referring to old DDOS attack.

I'm using second account playing this game, all low tier chars. I saw big difference with last couple weeks. Maybe you guys lucky didn't get any database problem or collaped, but I had one and cause me abandon all the t4 chars (both sides). Or you can said I'm bad luck. Well, I did know this is alpha and still ton of bugs need to recode or something. I didn't blame anyone. I just want to continue play this game, that's what I want! But since the population drop so fast, have you even think was it cause something?

We can discuss this as much as we want. Eventually, the amount of players online is the true feedback of a game. And when a game involves a community, behaviours, on everyone's side, and mechanics, are both fundamental.
We can blame changes, ddos, xrealming... and still be pretty far from the real problem. Which I don't know and I don't assume.

All this stuff isnt really representative for an alpha server. We had 1.4 k peaks shortly after t4 release. Then ppl recognized that it was not the t4 they were looking for and we are still alpha. Right now theres nothing to do ingame instead of finding bugs. We still have random dcs and are far from getting things working. I still believe the only thing that brings ppl to the game is to progress in development.
