The future is a few hardcore premades roaming fighting eachother all the time then server shutting down

The question is how far are we from that future? I dont know, hope its farfar away

Bit of an affront to the changes that have been implemented to facilitate to pug/casual play, but to each their own.

The future can be seen in the flat side of my scrying-hammer.
It's a trap. The banhammer creates its own destiny.

I'm going through all these posts and I'm trying to get my head around some things... The only way for an MMORPG to be successful and to keep large number of players is the way of constant new content and dumbing down the gameplay... Hmmm, do I smell Blizzard in the air? But even old mighty Blizzard couldn't cling to 13+ mil subscribers forever.

City sieges - what are those in essence? Same as keep sieges, only bigger. Eventually, even that will be boring. New sets? Yeah, that will become boring as well. So at the end, there is no depth here, Warhammer itself as an IP doesn't have much depth. When you flesh out all the lore and intrigue, there is only war (pun intended). Scenarios and ORvR through constant repetitive cycles, that is the essence of this game. I mean what do you expect? What would be enough to satisfy your needs and would that be Warhammer?

And be honest, how many of you who are complaining about this game have reached RR80? Lemme guess... 0?

But you now what? I LOVE this game. I don't play it because I constantly want something new, no, I play it because I want to experience the old. I play it because I love this grim medieval fantasy setting and all that comes with it. I love the look of my KotbS armor and the badass hats and coats of WH, and the apeshit crazy design and behavior of greenskins. I love that special feeling that I can't describe while I'm passing through Praag. You either love it or not. And if you do love it, truly love it, you will enjoy it no matter how repetitive it may be.

Be free to disagree with me.

100%.

Some people are really asking too much of this game. If you don't enjoy it at the most basic levels, you should maybe reconsider what you're doing with your time. But please don't pollute the atmosphere with doom-saying and negativity.

Well legacy servers of old wow patches can also keep ppl playing. Ofc wow is a much bigger deal,a nd most wow private servers are much more advanced than we are, but we really dont need a big playerbase to keep it fun. I think 1000 ppl in primetimes is already more than enough, and as we progress and more and more things work im sure we can reach this level one day :) we have awesome stuff in our minds and big plans for the future.
