That's the sort of thing that can get you immediately evicted from our server with no hope of coming back. Pretty sure he got such treatment, but I wasn't around back then. Doxxing is a BIG no-no.

Well the GM said they handle the line crossers. So i imagine as long as we can determine the difference between "healthy aggression" and absolute Assholery, everyone can help the community with the power of reporting lol.

That's great to hear as well Wargrimnir. See i may have only been here for about a week now. But the shear amount of time and work the Devs, Gm's etc put into this game is amazing. So i know while its not a problem you can snap your fingers and make disappear, im sure you guys are always working harder to create a good game and good community for everyone to enjoy.

Yeah, but it feels like I'm having to add too many people to the report-and-ignore list.
it's just
Spoiler:
let's not name and shame, send those to a gm.
I mean, is there any way to promote not being a huge you-know-what without banning a bunch of people? That's what I would like to see.

Nah, some people need a good hard banhammerin' before they realize they shouldn't be doing things like this.

Yeah, but that's my point. I'm hoping that there's a way that healthy interactions can be promoted within the community so that way we can prevent that.

I have to agree with you there. Giving someone a good scolding and slapping their wrist often isn't enough. It why you hear so many stories about school bullies who do what they do with no repercussions. The moment someone realizes that continually being a douche canoe will make you lose things you love, is the moment people start looking at themselves. Or at least that's hopefully the case lol.

Also Twyxx I as much as the next person wish that could be done, and im sure the GMs have on multiple occasions just been like "hey stop that" and people did. But its why Wargrim used the words "some people" because some people understand what they said was wrong, others don't care, the ones that don't care about what they said or did, are the bannin types.

That's not to say all players are rolled in this toxicity. I've actually made an order friend who's even on my Friends list even though im Destro. Mephistoxxx. He's pretty good people and one of the few who i actually enjoy meeting on the battlefield. (I main a magus and he is a witch hunter, he b-lines for my ass the moment he knows im on the battlefield and its always good fun trying to take him down.)
Heya Mephistoxxx here, that's my WH alt :)

Here's the thing, in mass RvR fights you will see a lot of "hate" talk going back and forth. But tbh, that's just some "field of war" style of communication between two factions
But, if you do send a /tell to a member of the opposite faction you will find no hostility or ill mannered speak, at least that's the experience that I had so far. I even made a few destro friends in that way and I always have a nice and plesent talk... Except with Norkali... If you send him a /tell he will just yell back at you something like this: BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, or KHORNE DOESN'T REWARD FOR TRYING. (some say that he only speaks with his axe) Yeah, he's crazy like that :P :P

I have only been back a month and it seems to me the community is not at all as good as was on live. I'm not sure if it is a Order problem? In advice people do not usually give any and just troll, there is so much elitism, and the amount of bad sportsmanship in RVR lake and scenarios is amazing to me!

Seems people do not understand it is a game and not a career. It is meant to be fun.

Oh no, believe me destro has its elitists too. I wont name and shame but i know a shaman or two who will lose their shiz if anything goes wrong. As for the advice thing, yea that happens on our side too. Thing is i will sometimes tell people "Hey lets try and keep advice for the advice, some peoples questions are getting buried." only to get snarky replies. but that's just people. Advice is still used to help but some people don't care if they're off topic conversations flood the wrong channel, i mean that's what general is for. Ive gotten through the game a lot easier thanks to the advice channel.
