I think more people would play if..

I've spoken with many people who do not understand about the 'new rules in RoR.

A lot are still clueless on t2/3 combination, And how supply works for only 1 zone!
A lot still dont understand Debolster.

If there was some kind of message everyone received it might help activity. Most sign on and dont realize where to go or what to do, and just logoff or go pve.
Implement some kinda information, like a popup, or the yellow text explaining the new rules.
just IMO :geek:

It's an incredibly easy game to get to grips with. Really. Try playing arenas on arena-tournament and then you'll know what being left out in the dark means (terrible information/newbie facilitation). All the information you need is on the forums, it's just people being lazy.

Is there a place to find every update listed that doesn't allow people to comment on it? Other than the main page.

New information gets lost is the maze of posts. Unless you live on the forums ( most people don't ) you'll never know where to find important information fast. The site needs a post or page that has everything ever addition or change with an easy way to locate it. If there is one already I'd love to know where it is.

There should be a database or a wiki resource with all the info and changes, and the launcher program should provide links to that resource and tell players to visit it. Also would be pretty helpful if patch notes were avaiable in launcher...

Just because information "is there somewhere" doesn't mean average player is willing to spend time looking for it.
Information should be easily avaiable, its super basic stuff.

The Launcher is the "frontpage" of the game and every player see it on a daily basis.
This "frontpage" should provide all the information and basic functionality the player might need.
Links to wiki, database, forums, github, class calculator, patch notes and so on.

Couldnt agree more with the launcher info.Lets hope that the new UI that Devs are scratching will include patches in it.Also had a talk with GM about creating a unique RoR Wikia putting everything in there.Influence Rewards/Items/RvR systems(T1-T2/T3-T4)/Rules etc.More organized.

Off-topic but how is the pop/play on a-t? WOTLK was my favorite wow expac, and I wouldn't mind reliving the arena glory days :D

Something like the Rules, Guidelines, and Server Information section? I mean, you guys are all reading the rules before playing, right? Not to mention that Server Information bit that always sounds handy when dealing with a difficult-to-install game.

Azarael has written several highly detailed guides for all the aspects of the game he's worked on thus far. Could we do more? Maybe.

It's pretty good. It's now called Blackrock, and the 2v2 scene is very competitive.
