Link guilds with a different text dont work.. why ?

Heya i'm trying to advertise my guild with a different text...

I found this:

With this code it have the color and the text but dont open the Guild description for other players...

The ID 1420 should be right because all guild members can open it..


you can link items too but the person who click the link only can see it if he have the item in his inventory...

Well, the space between "LINK and data" dont work same as "text and = "

if i copy that from here and just put it in a macro it sends the text to the chat...

Here's mine guild macro:
/5 <icon20204> Join the <LINK data="GUILD:220" text="[Radiant Knights]" color="255,5,5"> now! Looking for active T4+ players! Priority on tanks!
It works for me, so I got it correct, you don't.

Wasn't there anywhere a regulation that you aren't allowed to change text color in chat?

I'm pretty sure there was the rule that you aren't allowed to spam Icons.

But can't find both in the TOS.

For stuff like guild recruitment I doubt any GM will care as long as you dont spam it.
