Possible solution to stuttering caused by addons.

1. Download VinyUI192.zip
2. Back up your Interface and User folders - make zips and delete original folders.

Now your client is without addons, their settings, your saved character profiles.

3. Copy Interface and User folders from VinyUI zip into game directory.
4. Open game, after picking character game will ask u to choose profile - pick VinyUI profile. use /reload

Now I know VinyUI can be awkward at the beginning but please try play with it for at least 1 hour in warband environment just to see is there any improvments with stuttering.

You can skip running VinyUI on itself and use your own settings but only if you use same basic RvR addons included in VinyUI zip.

1. Open Interface folder and Interface.zip (made in point 2) and cross check addons used in VinyUI and yours. Remove from folder any addon you didnt use before, like Statdoll, Dascore, Mesh etc. At that point you should have in Interface folder only addons you normally use.
2. Open User folder and User.zip (made in point 2) and copy everything inside zip to folder. Doesnt matter if you get settings for addons you dont have in Interface - they wont be simply used.

This way you get profile VinyUI with your own settings. Now you can switch back to your previously used profile, addons will be same as VinyUI( there is no other addons) and you can start testing.

At that point you should notice if there is any improvement or no.
If YES, start adding addons not included in Interface folder by copying from Interface.zip - their settings are already in User folder.
If NO, there can be other reason of stuttering ingame regardless used addons - graphic settings, malfunction of hardware etc.

Any time you can get back to previous state of addons/settings by simply deleting new created Interface and User folders and unziping Interface.zip and User.zip

Not trying to steal your thunder but I wrote a small guide on what settings and addons affect WAR's performance the most. Although a bit dated it should accomplish some game improvements and it's been useful for a lot of players. Click

Nice guide there, I bumped on it some time ago, to this day I play on windowed mode and and get rid of dps meter.
But I think it will help players with less powerful specs, cause remove some features that can be ran easy on mid range PC specs.
The other thing is , no matter how high end PC you have, some addons and settings will always have impact on your fps or stuttering. Simple example is all whistles that come with Oh shinny preset or MGRemix.
What I didnt mention before is graphic settings that can help with that. Personally I use Nvidia inspector and changing few things helped a lot.

Glad i'm not the only one experiencing stuttering (and on a high-end PC at that). I'll give your guide a go over the weekend and will let you know. Cheers!

Thank you for posting this! I already use VinyUI but would love to ditch the fps meter and I do play on an older computer so this may help smooth things out a bit. Healing is hard af when you're playing at slide-show fps haha.
