being that lowbie r31/30 WH in Devastator with 0 talismans; it was my first T4 scenario on that WH, I was expecting to get brutalized badly considering the enemy had a full meleetrain premade consisting of r40 chars all from same guild who definitely were on a voicecom. Luckily the enemies were not able to kill me, somewhat thanks to bolster, but mostly thanks to awesome guarding and truly epic heals. I was actually invited to the premade just because I could provide healdebuff-spam, with Althi doing most of the damage and me desperately running behind snared trying to land those healdebuffs plus the occasional Exit Wound.
Anyway, I'm not one of the old enigma 6man players, just joined it in mid-december; I'm not one of the pros, probably got in only because I knew some members from live. And now the guild is more or less inactive.
The fact that after having played most mdps on both sides WL was the easiest for me maybe only shows that I am more suited to play a WL than say a mara or a slayer. Thinking more coolly about what seemed distasteful about the videos I have come to realize I was flaming it for the wrong reasons. Eathisword was right, this isn't the cheesiest setup possible, quite the contrary in fact. And this is connected to what I already said. Melee is always way less cheese than ranged (risk vs reward) Now I know what set me off about this. It is that if you want to show off your dbs or your performance you should stick to more equal, challenging situations (premades vs premades make excellent videos, or even pugs vs pugs or solo roaming) Obviosuly, if you are in a premade and find pugs on the other side you go and destroy them, But posting about that "feat" is hardly commendable.
