I can't see how the game can still be called a game if NB can automate so much of it.

I had a bw alt that for a laugh I played a sc with all abilities on one button. Topped dps and got 13kb. t3 though.

Btw, good players using NB didn't put everything in one string, and never put critical skills there as well.

For example, if you had a 10 sec CD KD, it would be stupid to put it on a string with a "not unstoppable" requirement. You would end up using your KD on a tank or some other irrelevant target instead of waiting a couple seconds and using it on a healer or a near-death target (effectively denying him the chance to pot).

tl;dr: good players that used NB didnt have one long string which did everything. They instead had a couple shorter strings for different situations.

Yeah I did manage to get everything on the naga for each class I played. Things like positional requirements were very effective, backloaded rotations like the bw and preventing dot recast. Thats why I found bw/sorc got the most benefit from nb. Disrupt cast the free skill then recast the disrupted dot again.

In light of this, I find it astonishing that Wrath of Heroes has such a poor reputation. Sounds like Mythic just cut to the chase ;D

I use a Naga as well. Loved using NB when on my Mara or SW, i would put savagery skills on 1, brutality on 2, monstro on 3 (with the stances and a personal stack conditional of course), and stance-dance like a mofo. Fun times.

Most of WAR players who hated on WoH never even tried the game (at least most of the guys i asked in the old Bioware forums anyway).

I did enjoy it... until they made it P2W.

It didn't help that mythic came on the forums and stated nb was all fine and legal. Thats when it exploded. I started using it at that point and was suddenly as good as all these players that I then realized had been using it.

I still think nerfed buttons deserve a ban :P
I used to use NB to put ap drain and 2 dots on 1 key because of my terrible setup of playing on a laptop with no mouse, no NB would make things harder but i agree it would be better to rid of it.
