Noticing that already. I actually saw a GM in region chat yesterday telling someone with an issue to quit if they didn't like it. And then one in here tells me to look for a self help group because he takes it personally. Oh well. Get what you pay for.

To help answer some more of your questions:

- WE gets really fun in t2/3 but only if you are either really good at solo roaming or you have a group to run with. Pugging on a WE can suck pretty hard in all tiers.

- DoK healing is ok at the moment but if melee healing is what you're after you will once again need to make sure you have a group to run with because being guarded is a must in that spec right now. Backline healing on DoK is laughably easy (imo it's boring but I'm biased as that's my main) and if you're even remotely good at it you'll have no problems finding groups to run with.

- Yes WL can be a pain to deal with, depending on your build. If your DoK is a healer, make sure you're slotting ARMOR talismans and not willpower and always have your detaunt handy. Also remember that some WLs are specced so that their pets are actually doing the lion's share (hur hur) of the dmg so in those cases it's important to actually detaunt the *lion* rather than the player. WLs are not (imo) op if you know how to deal with them.

I'm not sure what you think I took personally, but I will remind you to read the rules when it comes to interacting with staff, and also what you should expect when you play on the server.

If you're posting baseless whine (i.e. lacking evidence, knee-jerk reactions, personal biases), then you're starting off at a level of disrespect that will be met with in kind. You don't pay our bills, you're not a customer. You're here for free, and that's cool man we like that, as long as YOU ARE COOL with the pace of development and how to help us improve. Otherwise, we're well within our grounds to talk to you like anyone else that would spit on us, and I assure you, we bite our tongues frequently. I strive for some basic level of professionalism, for myself at very least.

Analyzing this post, I've seen OP:

a) baited into an argument when someone implied OP is a typical whiner making sweeping generalizations - Red herring! Ignore it. Do not take the bait! OP you are not a bad person! They want to discredit and derail you!

b) offered genuine bits of perspective from players - thank these people and perhaps a follow-up question?

c) offered a genuine bit of perspective from players with a dash of snark (adding fuel to the previous baited comment intentionally or not) - thank them for the perspective - ignore the additional bait. The person wanted to help but was 'on the fence' (an idiom) regarding the legitimacy of your post.

d) after taking bait in part a), GM comments and offers perspective on current game balance- thank him/her for the perspective. Also, GM made a sarcastic comment - Do not take personally or get baited into further argument! - each GM has a different personal style and some use idiomatic sarcasm to nudge you back into exercising proper etiquette and observation of rules. They also do this to test your willingness to pursue a bad argument. You are going to be okay! You aren't a bad person! Be courteous and move on!

e) baited with appeal to sympathy from someone disgruntled or having a bad day - don't take the bait! - it will only derail the conversation and provide further evidence that this is a whine post. Which led to...

f) Smack-down from GM - justified. Which led to...

g) in addition to random George Carlin video, someone finally getting their chance to comment..."quality ****-post" (this person is part of the cool team now)

So in sum: Don't take troll bait and DON'T feed them. Be courteous to GMs and 'bite your tongue' (so many idioms) if you must (tongues seem to be delicious method for staying out of trouble). As cool and clever as some people in these forums think they are, I've seen almost everyone slapped by a moderator or GM. I think I'm super cool and clever only to get bitch slapped by staff sometimes. Don't take it personally!!

No need to respond. These are just personal observations. I felt compelled to comment because sometimes these forum topics devolve so terribly that I just feel bad for everyone involved.

Your first character should always be in my opinion a jack of all trades but logistically a strong PVE farming or content based character that can accrue vast sums of gold and create items like potions or talismans so that you can bank roll other characters or walk into Altdorf with the swagger only a rich man can and request power leveling or any assistance with your Ill gotten gains.

Have a problem gearing? No problem buy some until you have killed enough for renown gear.
Have a problem levelling? No problem simply offer silly amounts of gold for power leveling.
Have a problem making friends? No problem buy some.

Money won't make you happy but it will help you find it quicker.

Speak to Tyrshand the beast mode marauder he can level you in a day and he is after all a marauder meaning he is needed in 6v6 competitive fights. Any premade without a marauder in my opinion lacks the morale movement root the armor debuff and the OUTRAGEOUS dps.
