Random freeze frames that last 1-5 seconds

Everyone just literally stands still for anywhere between 1 to 5 seconds. it is not my computer because I can still look around and see people running left to right or right to left. but literally everything is just in place then 5 seconds passes and it catches up. does anyone else have this issue? and if someone does can someone help me resolve this issue

Try turning your video settings to fastest frame rate in game.

Are you using WiFi connection? Try using wired (ethernet) connection.

I'm running cable connection. I know better than to run wireless connection.

I have this issue and it only started about five days ago. It's gotten better recently, but not back to normal. Sometimes it will get progressively worse the longer I play until it disconnects me. Tested memory, checked resource monitor, etc. The only thing I can see changing when i do get a freeze frame is my SSD writing more data (but most of the time it's in the 100kB/sec range, so I can't imagine that's the issue).

@dansari I know a few individuals who get the similar problem after a long gaming session. Every couple of hours they log out and quit and restart the connection tot he server, they say it saves a lot of hassle.

Solid advice, if I weren't so glued to the monitor sometimes any idea why they're having those issues?

I have been experiencing the same thing over the last week and an over all drop in server performance since new gear drop. Whether its due to the change in zone control forcing more players into one zone increasing latency or lack of memory dumps.... something has changed.

You can try also
1) change video setting for other and back to your orginal
2) use some memory optimzer

Are you running any addons? I noticed similar lag while running warbuilder that I fixed by updating the addon to the newer version.
