As I stated before we need more objectives to use entire lake and not just gather around keeps which would also break the zerg as objective retake would give negative effect to previous owner.

It is sad that Az is inactive. I wish he just did all the changes and told ppl Git Gud when they whined. It is what it is though. Change is never easy and it never happens quickly so let`s see where the ride takes us.

Pulse wrote:There is no fixing RvR. Just read back through this and other threads about it. Everyone has a different idea about what exactly is broken so no matter what changes get made, everyone else just whines more.

Players want it easy and get a kick out of winning. In warfare of this type, "numbers" is the greatest advantage so the Zerg will stay. When Az tried to make large numbers together a negative by boosting damage against them.... WHINE

Cross realming is not fixable. Even with client control. Sure the hurdles can be raised making an account bound to one realm. But free accounts just mean xrealmers make 2 and people will WHINE about choosing a realm and losing their other chars. Tying account to IP means xrealmers use VPN for one or more accounts and others WHINE that a family member can't play with them. With client control, (could be done in launcher too) store a realm token on the pc and xrealmers will hack the token or use more than 1 PC and others will WHINE they can't share their own PC with family/friends.

Honestly, if I was the dev team I would only work on the functional playability bugs and make no changes to balance or gameplay design because any type of change there is just met with vitriol. Tell the players this is the game you can play it as is or be gone as no more complaints (suggestions) are needed or welcome.
Okay this is the worst you can actually do, nothing. How is doing nothing a solution. It's like giving up on everything. Why even bother to develop anything more than we already have? They should have stopped at T1 then or shouldn't even bother to start.
You can bring this so easily into every aspect of life and see doing nothing it NOT an option because doing nothing is equal to death.
There are always people bringing critique and this is how you improve. You read it, you think about it, you try some of it or get an even better idea based on it and try that instead. Ultimativly you improve what you have. Maybe you make a few steps back before you can move forward but in the end you always improve.

I'm 100% certain that a luck based system is unfair because you will always have people getting significant less or more than others that's how "rdm" works. My suggestion on how to fix this is already written somewhere here in this thread I think it would solve many of the problems people have with the rewards if not all. The only thing it doesn't touch is the time it takes to get the gear which is intentionally the case because how long it should take it up to the devs.

I dunno wy all ppl are so focused on the **** loot roll System ...
ist ONE way you can obtain the items that you Need ONE way and not the ONLY one .
If you want to have conq gear you can obtain in in 2-3 month easy wihout any loot roll .
For me the roll after a lock Zone is just a "Bonus" .
And the roll isnt full rng , if you are permanent in the high contribution youre Chance to get an item is masiv higher .
The new items are out now a month ? and it gives ppl wiht BiS equipp now in my eyes ist WAY to fast .
Completly delete loot rolls and half the drop rate of medalions /Emblems thats my solotion to all ..

It's not about obtaining a gear quicker it's about getting rewarded after playing the game, locking the zone. People want a reward instead of getting slapped in the face with a chair by rmd amazing 30 rolls. The problem is that rmd loot distribution is unfair to some and therefore cause discomfort.

E.g. Your company gives one worker every month a bonus they take into consideration if you did your job well or not but then roll a dice who gets the bonus in the end. Does this sound fair to you and would you accept it or complain? Cause with this there will always be the Bad luck brian who always works his Ass off and never gets a bonus and Mr. Luckylazypants getting a bonus super often while working not so hard.

If your primary drive is not the battles and fun of RvR, then the reward you already are getting is lost on you. Getting gear reliably and faster should be secondary, otherwise as soon as you obtain it you quit from lack of progression. Fun of fighting IS the reward provided by this servers existence.

Also, this isn't work. It has no real direct consequence such that attaining more pay would have on your life. If this game fills that level of importance in your life, seek help.

If you actually read you see that it is NOT about obtaining gear quicker. It's about fair or unfair reward distribution and rewards which a common thing to use to keep players. A unfair reward however is a counterforce and drives people to stop playing the game because they feel cheated.

Then the work example was to illustrate why it's unfair (an example should be easy and something everybody could encounter in RL) but I guess even this simple example wasn't for you.

For me the reward is that i can run out with my gobbo or with my big Fat orc and i can play dat game here.... Ppl talk about to leave The game cause they think something is not fair and so on.... Hell come back to the roots and play for fun and nothing Else... But youre right The roll System isnt fair. So what i sad no rewards for locking zones!!! All obtainable with medallions But lower The drop rate!! I think its not fair that you got a loot roll for playing 200 vs 80 ....

Not that I'm for silencing people wanting to communicate, but this and threads like it go the same way every time. It's a directionless gripe thread where people with no power to implement change offer their professional opinion only to (surprise) zero effect. If you want to actually make a difference in this project, please, make a post addressing a singular issue within the feedback and suggestion forum. This game is like a painting where there's five hundred statists suggesting how to smear the paint brush all over the picture. Choose a tiny portion and try to make it prettier, otherwise you're just wasting your keystrokes.
