[DoK] Healing sets while leveling

Hi there, i play a healer dok, r22 rr20 right now. I mainly go for scenarios cuz you know, wife, kids, don't have much time to play and a couple games is just alright for me.
So, i was expecting some healer stuff at the medallions merchant. Nope, just mdps stuff. So where am i supposed to gear up ? RvR ? Is there another way to gear up ?

Gloves and boots can be found in AH for about 1gold. Rest is from rvr. I have much harder times to collect scenario dps set than rvr healing one, thanks to fact, that prices were tonned down significaly.

Get new defensive gear from a renown gear vendor regulary and insert some cheap green armor talismans and make sure you have 8 regen chalice equiped.

Thanks i'll take a look at the AH.
Right now i have a 6 regen chalice, couldn't find better. As for talismans, i did go for willpower as my stats really suck otherwise. I barely need defensive stats as i'm always in a good position and quick to detaunt. Though I'm certain that will change in the final tier metagame.

You can get away with stacking willpower until you hit T4. At that point you may want to consider swapping your wp talis for armor ones (or toughness, depending on who you ask). Also, grab 2 pieces of ruin gear when you can, the willpower boost from the set bonus will help to offset the use of armor talis when you're ready to make that change. I try to keep my willpower right around 825-850 through gear and a pot. Anything beyond that has diminished returns and will make you squishy.

Get the T2 Influence Chalice from the Empire zone. Its seriusly one of the best one in the game and can be used until you get better ones from T4 sc's

Much better now.
I've bought a 8 regen chalice at the AH, created some armor talismans, found some good green stuff with a lot of willpower and i put a lot of toughness with the reknown trainer.

Now i got 500+ willpower
Almost 2000 armor with the aura.
290+ toughness.

It's a real pleasure to heal my mates !

if you can afford to, it also helps to have an armor pot and willpower pot up at all times. Then you can run coventant of vitality to give your group a dps boost. remember that your armor covenant doesn't stack with pots or the chosen aura and in t4 most people use armor pots and nearly all chosens that I see run their armor aura so it's smart to learn not to rely on tenacity for your armor. once you get into t4 most groups will request you run either vitality or celerity so the sooner you can be armor-sufficient without the use of tenacity the better off you'll be. but of course armor pots can be spendy so until you're in t4 I wouldn't sweat it too much.
