Order / destro 1vs1 duels

Not sure if it was discussed in any form on this forum, but are the order / destro 1vs1 duels allowed? I used to enjoy them on live in locked zones (specially MS in Praag), learned a lot from great players on how to deal with different classes on the other side.

I don't see a lot of solo players in the active RvR zones, I do realise it's mostly because they're being steamrolled by zerg / WBs / premades.

So I guess my question is, are the duels an infringement on the rule:

No colluding with the enemy to farm XP, Renown, Influence or any other benefit.

And if not, what's the borderline? Two / three rounds? Please mind I'm not talking about mindlessly bashing the other player, killing the char, respawn, rinse and repeat, but the actual duel and trying out different specs / tactics.

As i know duels are allowed But i think If you Make duels for farming or to much gms could speak with you friendly

Dueling scene was a lot bigger last year (organised a few dueling events, as did others), and it would be great to do another one if enough interest can be fuelled.

Nothing wrong with 1v1'ing people in a locked zone, but you may want to avoid an open zone as you could inadvertently be giving yourself the chance to win a bag - all the while not contributing to the zone at all =P

Now to practice the SM! If anyone fancies some duels, let me know.

I haven't dueled since I del the WH... Duels a year ago where great, partly because nearly everyone had cap RR and was BiS. It was about spec/skill. We should do another event though, just to see how many are still interested...

On-topic: Dueling is perfectly fine. You can use /s to talk to the other realm, and you can send tells/friend members of the opposite realm. Dueling is Fighting. Not kill trading. Now, if you Duel the same person 200 times in a row, and you win 100 of em, and they win 100 of em, someone might have something to say...

Wouldnt be surprised, me and simba were dueling a few destro in tm a while back and some people cried 'cheat'. Wouldn't put it past this community.

ID sure like to SEE more people roaming solo with their best solo builds

I still run around solo a lot and enjoy IT But the Good fights Are few and far between.

Dueling events Sounds like a fun idea to make ppl more into solo builds

Praag was the solo roam spot on live, I ran through it today but didnt see anyone.
