Warband crashes are the only thing I've found which will mess with your contribution. I've been in a zone for 4 hours constantly fighting, WB crashed about 10 minutes before the zone locked and when I eventually got to the rolls I was all the way down the scoreboard and a bunch of people who had only been in the zone 15 minutes were top contribution. In regards to your case, you might have been simply outscored in contribution by players who had been in the zone longer than you and/or who contributed more. Would need to know more about what you did specifically to get a better idea. I very much doubt being moved from one group to another in a WB will affect your overall contribution.

There has been a few threads already discussing how people get consistently good contribution scores. Developers won’t reveal how it’s calculated for obvious reasons.

Anyway for 2 times i got a green bag just for doing nothing , 0 kills, just running around. I must say really cool LOL, and maybe there are ppls running for hours without taking any rewards
