Anti-crit... No, it was not labeled as Anti-Crit. I had a total of -33% crit reduction. And we weren't testing the BG change here.... So...

no i'm saying depending from the "source" of the crit reduction results may be different if they have different implementation.

I don't have a BG. But nothing in this game goes to negative. The only time they have, is was due to Bugs. Someone with a BG is free and welcome to test this. But I consider it closed. Your crit reduction has no bearing on your opponents chance to crit. Edit: at least with abilities. Can't speak for that AA lack of crit robin apeaks of. But I can't recreate it.

Crits work like this
critical hit rates are affected by defenders initiative vs attackers rank, in the following way:
(7.5*<attacker effective rank>+50)/<defender initiative>/10

you then add any crit chance modifiers from the attacker, and subtract any crit chance reduction the defender has:
((7.5*<attacker effective rank>+50)/<defender initiative>/10)+(<attacker crit bonus> - <defender crit reduction>)
Reduction is subtracted last

/end thread

And you miss the point. Yea your reduction is taken last, but you can't go to negative! 0 is the BEST you can get. Don't believe me? Go test it. Cause I did. Read my post on page 17.

Edit. Yknow what? **** it. If you people want to be ignorant and not read or test stuff, go for it. Please stack the **** out of negative crit rate. It'll make you a lot easier to kill.

Dabbart wrote:I just tested this. My Z had -20% chance to be crit. Started at 360ini, and with gear had a 3.6% chance to be crit. Took every lvl of FS(3+5+7+9=24-4= -20% chance to be crit)

Attacked by a Guild Zealot with 16% chance to crit. He crit me. We stopped testing there. Possibly, the issue is with AAs, or something else. But Negative Crit doesn't carry over like that.

Is anyone able to reproduce a Negative crit application like this? We had a thread on this previously, and it was pretty well tested that the Negative does NOT carry over...
Mayb there is a base crit? Rly dont know it

I'm guessing you made an error

what was your initiative and what gear had you that reduced crit?

What was your levels?

Provided you had 360 initiative and he was 40 he had 9,7222 to crit you
Add his +16 and we get 25,722222 to reduce with gear and FS and ofc you can't go below 0

Both lvl 40. No, he did not have 25.7% chance to crit. .getstats works. read my post on page 17. I put out all of the info. And YES you can't get below 0%. That's the point. Robin stated that he could remove all of his opponents chance to crit, and thereby not be crit via going into negative. I tested, and showed this is false.

Read what people write, then comment.

So that means He had - 20% and the attacker had 16+9,7 = 25,7 that means 5,7 Chance to crit or what? Still dont understand it :(
And the 9,7 is not shown somewhere? Iam confused

Ok. I'm done with you people. If you can't figure it out based on what I have already provided, then you're just going to fail regardless. So go stack full FS! It wont do anything but make you easier to kill.
