Seeking advice for New GPU

Hi lads :) , im in the search for a new gpu , currently running a 660ti and now looking for a new card within the pricerange of 300 euro.

Im leaning towards two different cards atm:
MSI GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6GB (GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6G)
or
MSI RADEON RX 480 GAMING X 8GB (RX 480 GAMING X 8G).

Im not well informed in the pc hw anymore , so any advice from a gaming community is welcoming :geek:
What would you recommend?

Wait for vega. I agree im sitting on 2 x 480 that were RMA replacements for a devil 13 card. There not bad i play at 2 differnt rez 3440x1440p acer pred or at reg 4k. They can drive most games at ultra at 1440p.

Thr realese of the 5xx sku in April well knock the 480x down in price. Then vega should knock it down further if vega is out of your price range.

If you absolutely have to get one of those I'd get the GTX 1060 because it's more reliable than AMD. It's been proven over several years now that AMD is just not up to par after a year, sometimes less.

Do you play in 1080p or 2k?

Recently I installed EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 onto my PC and I must say this is the best video card I have ever owned. Without using any overclocking it quite often runs just under 2000 MHz without ever getting over about 44 degrees C. Takes everything I throw at it on ultra (1920x1080).

MSI has really shone bright with their Gaming series of cards. EVGA makes some phenomenal cards, and their support is near unrivaled in the industry.
if you would rather have the 30-50 euros save it and get the EVGA, you would not be disappointed.
