Fine until people get armor talis and pots. Then pants. Their burst abilities are all from rifleman and suffer from high mitigation in late game. So they are forced into either a dot class with long multiple dots that are easily cleansed with doks gcleanse or to spec survivability and magnet for an aoe group.

Unfortunately order classes have a slight disadvantage against des group cleanse as it affects an extra class.

Lower tiers they are fine though so it wont be an issue for a while.

Any of the other 3. Slayer best dps in the game. IB fantastic mechanic and CaveWin kd best dps tank. RP with their heal boost proc tactic always get second healer spot over AM or second WP. Slayer is the games real topdog though.

Try them play what you enjoy.

Slayers start of pretty nice t1 and keep going strong up to t4 as long as they have a guard they will keep dishing it out

Sw are kinda meh late IMHO with the large map sizes and people going. 6 man gank squads or zerging it is hard to get solo pick offs that sw is good at

Engi's are best T1 and T2.

Right now it's pretty good when you have a turret working, you've got good pressure dps / AoE, but you do lack burst.

If you get acid bomb / incend round / and friction burn up with flame turret or bombardment turret going up you can give healers a headache since they don't have the needed cleanses / group heals yet.

You can bleed down a whole group while they spam heal a lone target.

But you do lack the burst for taking something out fast, and for finishing.

When tali's / pots come in, and the later tiers it gets worse and worse. Since we get gutted by armor caps / group heal spam / and then the higher level group cleanses. Turrets also don't scale well after T1-T4, since they don't benefit from talis / pots / buffs / set bonuses / weapon damage increases.

For solo'ing IB / SL can work well.

But overall if you want to be a dwarf and dps go slayer.

In my experience, slayers start of good in T1 and are a very compatible class in T2 as well, but T3 is were they really start to shine. Wether you spec them AOE or ST, they get their best abilities late in the game, but if you have the patience to get bursted by sorcs in T1/2 you really get to play the games (imo) best dps class from T3 and on!

Just watch out for that little Word of Pain icon on your health bar ;)
