Maybe just alter the tactic to give the cleanse a longer cooldown. So you avoid 5 sec grpcleanse spam, but don't take it out completely + the single target cleanse isn't affected.

That's within our ability to do.

nerfing the cleanse spam would help, but engi problems run a lot deeper than that.

Even with a tactic to up our armor pen, it wouldn't necessarily be enough.

Engi really suffered from tactic bloat, there were just too many must slot tactics, we didn't have all that much freedom when it came to tactic choice later on.

But fixing the cleanses, and swapping the damage type on a dot or too, with improving turret scaling could go a long way. If turrets actually shared all stats, and if for both engi / magus they had their damage types / abilities switched to elemental / corp that would vastly improve their scaling / dps outside of T1.

It doesn't help when at RR100 fully geared / buffed your turret hits / crits for less than it did in T1.

They were literally complete junk in T4, biggest crit I ever saw on a turret was 780, on a naked SH, with my turret having a RP BS buff.

But as you've all said it might be easier to bring dok / wp and bw / sorc down, then it would be to bring engi / magus up, and that's certainly an important part of the discussion.
