[AM] General healer question

I want to start a healer and I'm curious as to how the healers of order stack up to each other in terms of backline healing capability? My first thought is that WP aren't the greatest standing in the back pumping out heals, so it falls to AM and RP but how do each play?

AM = biggest heal numbers, least CC. Squishiest healer on order.

AM = ST detaunt, AoE detaunt, PBAoE snare, stock knockback, speccable range punt, best AP management with Wild Healing and AP Drain (can be specced into AoE Drain), just as mobile as RP since '.ab ex', best ST focus/burstheal, goodish gheal spam, goodish semi-AoE heal on the small lifetaps with '.ab ex', with avoidance/armor stack and proper gear remarkably tough.

RP = offers the best group utility - can be built into dedicated AP feeder, AoE HD-bot, (...) -, very mobile but lacks reliable snare, knockback and speccable ST stagger, a good indefinite detaunt, has an easy time getting to armor softcap, horrible mastery situation.

TLDR: Positioning + group (composition, coordination, ...) > class.

Laser beam AM > all

At the Moment am + runie is extreme nice for grp! So you can play both
But atm its rly not that Important what you play. There are rly rly rly rly nearly no hardcore grps out there. And with proper grp play with some friends you win 90% of All fights ( execpt Rolf stomps)

In regards to the 'trash': yes. However, its still accessible CC so 'least CC' isn't accurate, especially if directly compared to RP.
You can grab WH and the rest of the lifetap stuff with high enough RR, 'full Isha' isn't necessary - back on live it sure was, however.
As to 'no', I guess you lack the gear necessary to properly pull it off ~

Am has the best spike heals and kiting Aassistance. RPs give heal% increase, bubbles, marks, and more tanky depending on spec. WP gives fast grp heal and party cleanse(can't cleanse self and party though), higher armor.

Each healer has its strengths and weaknesses. An arguement can be made for all three being "mandatory". Pick one based on your style, to determine that, i suggest you go watch some YouTube clips.

Also, WP is far better for Farming, with the AM being the simplest to DPS with.
