Please be not one of 'them', you'll find plenty of workarounds and such in the respective forums/with a search.

Make sure you check the realm and guild forums to get into a group/guild; settled, asap.
You maybe wanna read up on some patch notes and use '.ab changelist' ingame to see the most important changes made to the class you pick, aswell.
