Returning After a Year

Hey guys returning after about a year away (Left like the week after T4 dropped). Just kind of looking for a quick summary of the development/state of the game since then. I looked around but couldn't find how ORvR is now working for T4 and wondering what is the top gear set that's working and in right now.

Anything else anyone wants to let me know would be super appreciated, thanks,

Welcome back. ORVR is one zone open at a time; take BOs to fill victory points, but you can only get up to 80% through BOs (have to take keep to be able to get to 100% and flip zone); loot rolls and small currency rewards for everyone upon zone flip (defender gets half of the rewards granted to the attacker, I believe).

Best loot in game is currently conqueror/dominator for most classes. A lot of people mix and match to get a lot of stat bonuses until they can get full gear in one set (and even then depending on your playstyle or build you might not want either of those full sets).

If you play destro, get your fingers ready to whine about white lions.
If you play order, get your fingers ready to whine about shamans.

You can debolster into mid tier (combined T2 and T3) for another set, called either Overlord or Imperator. This is an offensive or defensive shoulders/helm set you can buy partly using currency that only drops in T3 and partly using currency that only drops in T4.

Edit: devs have some cool stuff planned for the future. Reworking of classes, patcher, client control, land of the dead, bastion stair, etc. Also there is currently a T1 experiment happening that changes the way you flip a zone and fight for control of BOs.

What is the issue with Shamans? Aren't Archmages the exact mirror class? What's the mirror for White Lions? Squig Herders are nowhere near as annoying as White Lions.

AMs can't kite multiple groups for days. Beyond that it was merely a joke. Let's not turn it into a whine thread while we're ahead.
