Firstly I care nothing for whatever knowledge you imagine you have regarding what staff played or didnt play and secondly I thought I was pretty clear, Im not really one to mince my words.

That was why I asked for clarification because it wasn't clear at all. So I gave 2 possible conclusions that could be drawn from what you said. But... I'll take the insult and super nice reply as never removing it lol. No idea why you have to have such a tone with me all the time. Literally have done nothing but try and be nice to you and the staff for over a year. But anyway, thanks for the reply.
"I was told the opposite" by a former staff member, is a pressure tactic to rescind his already made statement that ICD will be here to stay. Whether or not it was intended that way, it's something we're not fond of. That's why you got the tone, or maybe it's just the way Torque talks about things and you'll need some thick skin when you push for answers already given.

I promise if it was ever clearly stated that the ICD was no matter what with/without client control, I would have never made a balance suggestion post, never made this post, and stopped talking about it a long time ago and stopped working on BIS'ing my DoK

I really am sorry if it seemed like I was giving him a pressure tactic. I was literally just saying that other staff members plural had told me it was a client control issue and many players that were around during the changes also told me they were told it was a client control issue.

But, after all of this good and bad, I'm glad I/other players have the answer that the ICD is here to stay. I really hope that whenever the class is reworked its covenants are changed to be worthwhile, maybe even remove damage from COV and mirror the WP one who knows or remove them altogether to open up new avenues who knows. But, onto Shaman.

Thanks again for clarifying Grim.

I understand the proc meta and being abusing it with multiple DoK's, potent covs, blood thirst and a sorc is what sorta made all this happen in the first place. But PVP aside, I have two questions.

1. Is it possible to remove the ICD for PVE? Maybe just remove it if you are not flagged for RVR?

2. Would it be a huge deal/Would it be accepted by the pop?

I was just curious what people thought/if this was even possible without client control. I've semi given up on the ICD removal for PVP and I think people are forgetting it was ever different. Maybe it is for the best. But for someone who loves to grind mobs just because it may be your happy time or you generally enjoy doing it and unlocking different titles and so forth.

Thanks for your time,

Sorry put this in chaos on accident!!!
No what made this happen was certain sm in a 6 man using it to rip people of in a 3 tanks 1 bw and a wp rp . mostly.

Doesn't matter what caused it lol. It's settled. Time to dust off the shaman and maybe swap over to my WP a little as it seems to be on the up and up. No need to keep the thread open so feel free to lock away.

i agree with damage of stacking procs is crazy but disabling "snare" , "heal" from covenants gimped dok a lot.

Look, in life you have to cut your losses. The guys in charge of DoK see it differently than the guys that used to be in charge of it. They like it where it is which is the weakest it has ever been since launch. They like that it is the weakest healer because it used to have aoe detaunt but once that was removed it was because they have high armor, once that is changed who knows what is next as the reason they heal less than every other class, oh yeah, it was also because of their AOE cleanse was too good which got nerfed too lol..

Bottom line my Grurfarg broseph, I love the DoK and it isn't unplayable right now. But rather than waste more time on a class that is under the guidance of people who never play it and have little to no experience with how it works in RVR be it WB/6 mans, or SC's be it pug/6 man. But with client control who knows, maybe they will let people offer suggestions without being shamed out of the room  . I'll still jump on from time to time but to spend that many hours on a class to be told that its primary mechanic (covenants) - will be FOREVER - essentially and entirely useless ONTOP OF - still saying the proc meta is overperforming

Dude hates me, dude hates DoK, but it is his sand box and I'd rather be picked last in kickball, finish last in every race, and get the crumbs after everyone else gets to eat and still play than not play at all.

He didn't say any of that. It's not being worked on in the near term, that's all. Crying about WP has this, and you took that away from DoK doesn't change our priorities, it only fuels irritation. So much for being nice.
