Question that you have read 100 times

Hi,

I used to play Warhammer Online back in the day and thinking of coming back again. The problem that I have is deciding the class and side. I know, I know... you must of heard this same problems at least 100 times. But the truth is that I just liked the game. I really like the healing classes and the tanks as well. I'm mostly casual player but I like to help others as much as I can.

So... the question would be which side needs the help? What would help the most: a tank or a healer (as a casual getting to a guild)? SW or BO are out of question because of the mechanics.

Thank you!

Same question that is met with the same response: both sides have times where they are outnumbered and other times when they are zerging. Multiple factors play into this, but there's no real definitive trend on either side. So, play what you like. Roll a handful of new characters and play around with their mechanics in T1 rvr. What's most important is that you enjoy what you play.

destruction has a lot of tanks and healers in general, especially noticeable in scenarios, so as a tank/melee you will almost always have company to cover your flanks and as a healer/rdps you'll probably have a wall of big guys covering you from enemy rush

the order however mostly consist of shitty rdps players who run away at the first sight of the enemy

so if you really want to "help others" join order, we need more tanks/healers
but if you want comfy gameplay i think destro might be a better bet

the question itself is perfecly legit no need to apologize IMO

Well from my pov its def worth to roll a toon for every class that somehow interests you and play it up to lvl 12 or something, this should give you enough of an impression of the class' mechanics, how it feels and if you're having fun with it running around in pve, pvp, scs, rvr, etc. ;)

Depending on daily form I'm between the support healer Engi and tank engi.

Holding against two tanks at fortress in nordenwatch for six minutes made me smile for a week. :)
