Advice on RvR Only Characters

Hello, I am RyuNura and my main character is a Witch Hunter named Ryunura. I am interested in having characters based solely on doing RvR. My WH was made more for me to just quest and chill with my guild mates and I like to switch my play style, so that's where the other characters will come in.

Is this a good idea?
How would I go about doing this(Would I level up to 40 but keep Tier level equipment on them or keep them at max level for that tier)?
What classes would be recommended for doing this(specifically for each tier and I would like different classes so I am not playing the same one over and over again)?

Thank you to whoever has read this and I hope you all can help me.
Sincerely,
The Knights Syndicate Grand Marshal, RyuNura

I'd recommend a ranged DPS, or a KOTBS.

Nothing beats engineer, enough dmg to kill anything with m2 up, self heals and group heals, tons of utility and defensive options. Longest range in the game so you can blast people behind meat shields.

It's just really the best class in the game all around right now and the best class to solo and pug on. Only thing it isn't the best for is 6v6, and really I think a lot of the potential is there we just need to see that scene revive and see what people can do with it.

Magus is nice, but no self heals and not as tanky leads to a worse pug/solo expierence.

If you somewhat new to this game, roll a Kotb and level it through RvR normally to rank 40, you will learn a lot in the process, and then decide whether you want to try the risky life of a mdps, or the easier and somewhat more secure life of a rdps.
WH is really bad choice if you somewhat new to the game, that is, unless you really like it hardcore and are prepared for lot of disappointments. :)

Make 1-2 chars to rank 40 by only doing RvR. Then later you can "powerlevel" newer alts to max level, since you know what you are doing and you knowingly enter T4 as a char with no renown ranks and somewhat weaker.

My WH is more for Questing and not RvR. I was thinking about a Kotbs or an Engineer for my RvR character

Also, please private message me or reply with some builds for (I'm just listing classes I may go with) if you think that could be of use to me as well
