Sorry but the 6v6 being won by whoever has the SM is a load of tosh. Current best 6v6 team is a destro premade that has a BO, so go figure. A BO, in the right hands, does a **** load of DPS, and is only marginally worse on heavy/medium armor targets. There is a lot of footage on youtube showing this from various guilds, if you'd bother to look.

I didn't deny that they can be hard to kill, but that is the role of a tank. They are a dps tank, they offer dps - and tanking capabilities. They offer little else.

and if you are talking about 6v6 when you have fought lob then yea damage is prolly similar because you are spending more time doing tank stuff and respawning then actually being able to focus on damage

i think no one will deny BO got high damage potential, the point is BO don't have the same panic button like SM's. if you going for "dps" you're taking the risk of being killed, on the other hand the risk is minimum as a sm when going for dps.

If you're 2h? Sure, I completely agree.

If you're SNB? You have access to block, and BOs can get pretty decent amounts of block - while maintaining good offense.

I know the SM is potent, I just feel that without the DPS, it doesn't offer anything else.

peter, dps matters and the utility comes from kotbs anyways.

could you post SM spec similiar with BO ? i mean similiar offense and similiar defense. BO gonna win "the utility" for sure, can't be sure about offense/defense.
