Seemed so to me when trying since the patch. I.e you have to land before popping it, effectivly negating it. Might have been lag hence why I am asking. Thanks.
SH selfpunt-combo doesn't work either anymore, iirc.wargrimnir wrote: Washette

I think Squigh herder and Shadow warrior self punt (which need and enemy in short range for make it work) are still working and can be used before land, but as i said ir needs an enemy in the place they are landing.
What has been really nerfed for Squigh herder is the use of Squigh armor + Kaboom for neglect a punt or for example skip falling damage jumping from a Bridge in Dragonwake, and using Squigh armor + Kaboom in the Air.

Re: [SM]Wings of heaven M2
Yep SW still works. You can punt them into a crowd and they can just fly away like angels, it's so glorious. Gobbos on the other hand, not so pretty like angels :S
Re: [SM]Wings of heaven M2
I am not sure, barely play my Witch Elf.. But i supouse it should be working like SH-SW self punt.Darosh wrote:Do you by chance know whether the WH/WE selfpunt still works midair?Lektroluv wrote:Spoiler:
Anyway, pounce could teleport you 65 feets? is more than twice the distance of SH-SW-WE-WH self punt which is only 30 feets, i don't think any further change is needed or intended.

Re: [SM]Wings of heaven M2
Last time i checked SM couldn't air jump.
did it reverted(bugged) after recent patch?
SW selfpunt need to hit something in range.
I think SW air jump was result of latency difference.
anyway, both were fixed before.
I can't test it atm

Re: [SM]Wings of heaven M2
I have it on video, SM M2 is used to jump back after being punted.
Dying is no option.

As it should be? I'm all for the Pounce change, given its high uptime, but WoH is a morale ability: you use it, then you have no other morales to offer the group.
In the right hands, it's very nice in maps such as Tor Anroc, or against a BG punt in Nordenwatch, but you have to have pretty fast reactions to pull it off - especially with the new x/y/z axis thingy, i.e. you can't just 'use' it when you're punted anymore, have to be on the same 'level' as opponent.
I believe, for these reasons, it should stay as it is.
