Remember to take in consideration the time of the year it is, With nice weather, people are out doing more and so forth. A lot of the people who play hard core have gotten there conqueror gear and weapons and may be taking a break. RoR staff is working hard on new patches and content, it just takes time.

This happened last year as well, players will be back no need to worry.

While that's true, I also think we can always do more to promote the game. Even in its current state (not yet complete.. maybe a few balance tweaks, rvr tweaks) it's more fun than alternatives.

Anyone remember that LE that was on live where everyone fought in GS T1? Something like that where the NA population is gathered in a lower tier could help returning players. Would need Dev support and need to be promoted / timed. Summer isnt the time to push this. Fall or winter for sure.

Don't forget to spam the channel every 37 seconds to get what you need, though. It's important, especially if you're looking for something very specific like a snb SM specced in ether dance running bubble enchant.

I dunno, need to increase rewards or something to get me to touch RvR anymore.

Showing up and wasting 3-4 hours and never flipping a keep feels pretty bad. I want progress daily, decent progress. Not 300 RP for standing on a flag once every 9 mutes and maybe 1-200 RP from zerging over someone now and then.

If the zone doesn't flip, it's just not fun. Zerging in itself is not that fun, so at least rewards are supposed to be there to help back it up but nope.

I've given up on ever seeing genesis gear or subjugator weapons as well.

If I'm going to spend 3-4 hours in game, I'd rather just do SC's honestly. At least its more controlled progression(assuming I'm not farmed all night haha).

Note: I'm not asking for welfare epics in RvR either. But at least give big chunks of RP even after you fail to flip or something, god damn lol.

Well I am kinda tired of reading the "it is summer" excuse lol. I mean euros play year round regardless of the weather. I really think it matters a lot less than anyone will admit. People aren't playing because they are bored. It isn't the devs fault, it isn't anyone's fault.

Obviously the community will continue to get smaller and smaller so one day they will have to do stuff together or it will seem dead all of the time. There were a lot of really good ideas mentioned in this post but why not just sit back and enjoy the ride and wait for the influx of people that will come back around when the patcher is done?

Personally I've been enjoying the hell out of other games, POE is coming out in a few days, and rather than beat my head into the wall here, I've been reading/studying more all kinds of stuff. Point being, rather than burning out right now when the game is at its absolute lowest point in the last year that I've played - just do something fun til the patcher is done and we can see what the devs have in store for us . Chances are all of the people who aren't playing, that will play when the patcher is released are going to do so regardless of what we do until then.
