Um what happened to my characters?

I haven't played in a long time and they are gone and my name (same as my forum name) has been taken (AGAIN after Archmage)

Like was there a character wipe of some sorts?

I believe there was a wipe not too long ago, yes, to free up names. How long ago was it since you last played?

Back in September 2016 (approx.) there was a removal of all characters on accounts that have not been logged in since April 2016.

If your account fell under this query then the characters were removed with no possibility of restoring.

Also to the current user that is using my name:

I have used Wrench as a gaming name for a over 10 years now, a long long time as you can see in my forum name and in many other games I have played always as:
(first name) Wrench (last name) Crowbar.

I used this name for 5 years on Karak Norn when I played with the guilds Fallen Legion, Red Shadows, Easy Company and Inquisitors. Since I created the character already on Return to Reckoning I always thought it would stay safe and that is absolutely my mistake I agree. I was not aware they would delete Character.

If you could release my name back to me or trade it back to me in this game I would be eternally grateful:-)
I am pretty sure there is a helpful Dev or GM out here that will be able to assist us in this matter.
