Old WaR Player needing help

I played WaR years ago, and was gutted that when I wanted to come back to the game it was no longer there...and then I found RtR .

I am currently d/l the 10 parts and launcher, but just need someone to help me with the basics of getting it set up once again and diving back in.

Can anyone take me through each step of extracting the files - where to and the running of the launcher etc ?

Extract the client to any directory. Extract the launcher to the directory created by extracting the client, such that it resides in the same folder as WAR.exe. Run the launcher, using your forum account details and ensuring that your password is alphanumeric only.

Thank you Azarael, much appreciated. When you say "Extract the launcher to the directory created by extracting the client", I have created a new folder/directory called WaR, so all I need do is put the WaR.exe in that same directory ?

You need to put the launcher in that directory, yes.
