Something strange happend.

Yesterday evening something strange happend with my Laptop. I closed WAR and tried to turn it off. It took way to long before computer finaly went Off. Today I turned on my laptop and it took about few minutes to get to windows. AOR lanucher was gone! I tried to redownload the launcher, but my Bitdefender block the URL with malware detection warning. I installed it anyway, but before I was able to start the launcher my antimalwer deleted it. Anyone expirienced the same?

Malwarebytes anti-malware found nothing. I used the free trial edition, but has all the features of full program. I'm sure other people have a variety of other programs that have found nothing. Maybe it just an over-sensitive program you use, try to add it to trusted applications see if that works.

Yeah it happens, disable your antivirus before running it and you should be fine. The launcher is perfectly safe. :)

Mines fine.

Sounds like your anti virus is going crazy. I believe all anti virus' will give false positives on "foreign" applications.

Just ensure that it allows an exception to the folder/file. You should be fine.

https://www.virustotal.com/de/file/31cc ... 423263633/

Very likely a false positive:
1. GEN or Trojan.Generic = heuristic of the antimalware, sometimes just flagged because of unusual runtime packers, no real trojan, antimalware is just "guessing" here
2. Obfuscated.gen!r = also heuristic, probably suspicious for obfuscated code, no real found
3. WS.Reputation.1 = symantecs "reputation-based security technology" (yes right, a warning based on "reputation"... )
4. Riskware, also no real found, also just guessing by the antimalware
5. W32/Trojan.MXXC-0836 = no clue, but it wasn't flagged by Cyren about a week ago, so i guess they just jumped on the bandwagon (the same Trojan.Generic.12610454 "found" from 8 different antimalware products...)

1-2 weeks ago there were only 3 heuristic/nonsense warnings on virustotal regarding the launcher.
