IB vs BG

Wondering which is better for 2h playstyle and why you guys think so, Discuss!

BG by a mile with recent buff, it's easily the most well rounded now and the trees are great because you actually have to make a choice between specs depending on group comp.

IB is the worst tank on order since the server was created, and still is. It will need an overhaul like BG before its on the same level as other tanks outside of 1v1.

IB you can spec for everyone you need. BG cant do it becouse of need to spec 3 trees

Yeah 2H Bg is is great now because is of those 2 and hell and out of all 3 destro tanks it's the only one that going 2H serves any purpose

But please take what jaycub says with a splash of salt, his assessment is from a prespective of 6v6 organized grp play.


2h ib is still a great small scale like duo/trio or solo tank, additionally calling ib the worst order tank is only technically true . It's like if kotbs was a 10, SM was a 9 and IB was a 8 then yes "ib is the worst", but not by much, it's stil a great buddy tank that can greatly enhance the dps potential of any physical dps ally

IB is not definitely worst tank on order side. IB is one of the best tanks in game right behind Kotbs and Chosen. It is well balanced for dps or tanking. BG buffs made him less selfish and more usefull for group, but still feels like chosen and BO are better choises.

From CC and buff perspective IB outperform SM by a mile and has far more and unique buffs for oathfriend. IB is ideal combo with kotbs for melee or ranged physical dmg setups.

I would disagree on the ideal setup, the addition of a good sm or black orc can at times negate the need for proper cc by just providing so much extra damage a target will die through guard.
