Created New Character, Account Fails Auth

Hey guys,

I created a Shaman on my main account and ran into an issue with the name I wanted being taken, so I tried to go back to main menu and create a new character. Character creation completed successfully, took me to character select - Shaman not present. Logged out of game completely, and now when I try to log back in the entire account fails authentication to the Martyr's Square server. Last message posted is 'Login Complete' to which nothing follows, I'm booted back into the authentication queue with no background, and unable to pass the 'Searching for Allies' stage. I've logged in on a fresh install on a fresh machine - unsuccessful. Logging in with another account - successful.
If I had to guess this would be a database related issue. The character causing the issue is named Dumpus. If for whatever reason staff comes to the conclusion that deleting the character via the character table would be the best move, I am all for that, as it is a fresh level 1 with absolutely nothing to it.

I am also posting this on GitHub, in hopes that more appropriate eyes may reach it.


Anyways, any assistance staff can offer is greatly appreciated. Until this is resolved, I'll stick to playing on an alternate account.

Might need to wait for a reboot, you have a bad charslot, tried clearing it up. Doesn't seem to be in the DB now, so a reboot should load it properly next time.

That's unfortunate. But second accounts are always an option, so I'll survive. What frequency do you guys usually restart the server with?

When someone bothers me enough to hotfix (We've had 5 this weekend), or on Fridays late NA / Saturday early EU.
