@Jaycub
it's the same with EU, playerbase is too casual/moba mentality, mostly don't give a **** about what's going on. tbh, it's normal, cause people not paying money for this game; they come, chill/pug and log off.

Re: Something something...
And I'm a fool to think that you've changed. Still naive as a young boy, that dreams of honorable and graceful 24v24 in the open fields, yet in reality gets overrun by the enemy that simple refuses to play by his childish rules.Zanilos wrote: Another issue is the certain players in /t4 or /1 telling players where to go. I felt before the last time I stopped playing that the staff carry weight when talking directly to players. Why not identify the players that are activly starting the zergs and maintaining them and just talk to them.
WAR is the game of numbers and logistics when it comes to RvR. Surely there's gear, skill, warband composition, but that's all secondary in comparison to sheer rough numbers of the enemies.
You can scatter a warband with your own 24men, perhaps two or even three, but you'll definitely die to four warbands, no matter what you do and the enemy will surely bring more the next time they see you make a step in the open fields of RvR.
The fact that I even talk /1 or /t4 is to bring a bit of order to the Order, so to speak, announce my open wb moves, call incs, advise when we need to group up to fight the enemy warbands, that are doing the same thing, and invite people to join the fight in zone in general - is that because I give a **** about my side of the realm. Sometimes it strikes me as if I am the only one who does.
While you, my friend, have done little but complained about the enemy not playing "fair".
It might come off as a shock to you, but I don't like running ruski-cyka-blob around the zone and fight 10 with 100, PvDoor, etc. and never did. I'd rather sit in my small little discord, pour spite and talk **** about other players with a ~10man group - like everyone else on the Order side these days. But someone has to make the calls, why not me.
Without going into specifics, I'd say sometimes a "blob" is necessary to win an fight because otherwise you are freenown and crests.

@Scrilian
i agree that if your enemy blobbing like no tomorrow, you "have to" do that aswell, period.
the problem is that some people playing the game as one blob by "default" which can't be changed by the game design sadly.

We hope that it can be at least mitigated.Haojin wrote:the problem is that some people playing the game as one blob by "default" which can't be changed by the game design sadly.

Re: Something something...
Meh, I've played with Jaycub and his dudes, and his sorta 'banter' is exactly what Fusion & I resonate with. 'Stupid childish ****' most others would deem, but a means of venting crap out with a bunch of dudes as an escape from the real world =).Collateral wrote:I think I found your problem!Jaycub wrote:They need to fit in well with our social aspects which means some really autistic/weird/offensive **** 24/7 in discord.
Srsly though, idk who would want to join an autistic/offensive/weird discord 24/7. I enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where ever I go. Sure I love good intense action, but it has to be in a normal, respective, mature way. And I'm pretty sure the majority of people feel like that. Of course, we comment some weird **** in our guild from time to time, and do some **** talking, but it's just for fun, I don't need that 24/7. I would really tire from talking about a bunch of crap all the time (that's at least how you portray your guild). We have a great little community, I could call it my second family.
To each their own, I guess, but who cares about 'maturity' when you're killing people in PvP, provided everyone in comms is having fun and laughing (which we always are). Too many fickle/easily offended people who can't have good bants! But I consider the community a second family, too, so maybe we have to play the role of the angst-ridden teen.

Re: Something something...
Getting back on topic, NA has constant action now so far. In both t1 and t234, so I think a lot of those people washing out from lack of action will stick around now.
Dissatisfaction with the action itself is another thing. But scenarios could provide an outlet for those, but with the current brackets you won't get pops till 32. Doing a 20-39, 1-19, and 40 sc braket would help. One of my biggest gripes in t4 scs is lowbies are usually canonfodder and this would eliminate that.
The only other complaint is still xp gains, theres no reason not to speed them up as the main argument of enjoying and learning your class slowly in the lower tiers is bygone. I only got 2 levels last night on my bg from 20 to 22, for around 7 hours of play getting top 5 contribution every zone(ty rngesus for subjagator glaive). So it wasn't like I was slacking off. For most classes it's not until level 30 till you really start to blossom with a full tree and 3 tactics.
Everything else is up to the community I guess.

Thanks and really good to know! we just need more skilled warband leaders now, to help train people to get the best out of a team based game.Hargrim wrote:On Sunday night yesterday EU Prime Time we had like 900+ players logged in at the same time, that is around 150 more than our lately average in prime time. Also assuming no other related variables have changed.
People might be more into this kind of test if it gets more people playing

Re: Something something...
aye i'm pro for an improved bracket for sc, but instead , t2-t3 and t4
sc should go with t1+t2 and t3+t4, the pop for sc need to be high to rival the overpopulated rvr, otherwise you just enter rvr all th time instead wait,

Yaliskah wrote:You can zerg 5 vs 1. So no, it is not pop related.Hargrim wrote:It is, you can't zerg if there is not enough playersYaliskah wrote:I must disagree.
Zerg is not pop related ( yeah i'm crazy). And i hope to be able to prove it before the end of the year or sooner.
Zerg = lack of options/choices -> ORvR mecanic -> What will players do when Keep is lost and all BOs are locked?.
I'm not looking to erradicate Zerg. It is an option, probably reassuring some players and i can understand. BUT You WON'T zerg if the zerg deserve your chances to reach objectives (unless you have very good reason to). Put all eggs in the same basket is an easy solution, but there must be a risk too.
well in live aoe with no cap was designed for hit zerg, as positioning is importan wb will still hit 9x player as the current system but on the other side 1 wb will only hit 9 player in 2 wb; with the previously system 1 wb could hit 100 ppl if they where all blobbed togheter, since aoe damages have no cap but heals does then 1 wb was able with good positioning to kill 2 zerg wb, basically back when ciclying moral 4 was a thing
this is the same principle cannons use atm no target cap, and is teh same thing i use for war40k tabletop units too pricely only meen under focus loos too many points. Dividing the cost of the units the more you can also means reduces the losses.

Data is in the DB, but running some kind of 'big data' analysis of it would take time that can be used for things that players will see in game.Fractus wrote:Thanks and really good to know! we just need more skilled warband leaders now, to help train people to get the best out of a team based game.
