General Builds
These are general Cookie Cutter builds for each of the three Mastery Trees. All of these are built for SW's of level 40/40.
Note: For a Scout build before RR 50 you need to wear either Full Annihilator or Full Mercenary for the +1 Path of Scout/Skirmisher Mastery Trees (Annihilator is suggested due to the offensive components of the set).
Masteries
Key Skill Pick-Ups:
Fell the Weak, Festering Arrow, Glass Arrow, and
Shadow Sting.
Key Tactic Pick-Ups:
No Quarter
Tactics
Masterful Aim: +160 Ballistic Skill
Instinctive Aim: +120 Ballistic Skill / +120 Weapon Skill / +120 Strength / -120 Toughness
No Quarter:
Eagle Eye and
Festering Arrow now build up 1 second faster.
Bullseye: Critical Hits now increase your Critical hit rate by 20% but also increases your chance to be critically hit by 10% for 5 seconds.
Morale

Lileath's Forgiveness - Remove all Hexes, Cripples, Curses, and Ailments and gain 250 AP.

Focused Mind - Remove/Ignore all silences, roots, disarm, and snares for 10 seconds and reduce build-up time on casts by 50%.
Note: using this in conjunction with Sword Master's Whispering Winds to use 1.5s Cast Festering Arrow without a cooldown.

Instill Fear - Cause 1200 damage and stagger all enemies within 30ft.

Hail of Doom - Hit 500 dmg every .5s for 5 s in 20ft AoE.
General Playstyle/Strategy
Scout Stance general playstyle/strategy is very straight forward: keep your distance and try to get off your burst rotation. Your general rotation should be: (if in range)

Fell the Weak (use FtW before GA if target is already below 30%) >
Rapid Fire (this is your filler move and if you need a few extra % to finish off a target). Use
Eagle Eye as your spam and pressure attack. As always use
Vengeance of the Nagarythe to increase your damage output whenever you start a rotation on a target while its off cooldown.
Note: Assault build realistically require RR 70 and full Vanquisher to be effective; you can use this 40/40 build to give it a shot if you want, though.

Tactics
Instinctive Aim: +120 Ballistic Skill / +120 Weapon Skill / +120 Strength / -120 Toughness
Wrist Slash:
Wrist Slash now steals 120 Weapon Skill and 80 Initiative from the target and gives it to you.
Merciless Soldier:
Exploit Weakness, Grim Slash, Brutal Assault, Sweeping Slash, Opportunistic Strike, and Counterstrike deal +50% Critical Damage //
Draw Blood and Swift Strikes have a +25% Critical hit chance.
No Respite: +15% damage when within 45 ft of target.
Morale

General Playstyle/Strategy
Assault's playstyle is centered around using your ranged attacks to weaken your target before closing in for a kill. Without
Shadow Step to assist in your movement you will need to play a tight in and out playstyle. Your general rotation is

Grim Slash >
Exploit Weakness/Draw Blood depending if you need CC or a little more damage >
Brutal Assault as your finisher.
Sweeping Slash is a great filler move or a finisher for a target getting some space between you. Note: you will have to swap in and our of
Skirmish Stance to keep pressure from a far and to apply
Takedown for your snare.As always use
Vengeance of the Nagarythe to increase your damage output whenever you start a rotation on a target while its off cooldown.

Skirmish playstyle is all about continuously moving while applying your damage. DoT abilities make up a large amount of your damage output compared to Scout or Assault. General rotation is:

Spiral Fletched Arrow (spam until you can move on) >
Flanking Shot /
Glass Arrow for burst at the end. Make sure to use
Takedown to kite and
Barrage /
Glass Arrow as often as you can/need to add a little burst to your arsenal. As always use
