Name Change

Hello, I am trying to change my name back to my original live character name, Fourhundred, using the .changename function, but I am getting an error saying that "player names may not be longer than 10 characters long." I do know that game character names are longer than 10 characters, so I'm wondering if this is a limitation of the .changename method and is there something I can do in order to change my name to Fourhundred short of rerolling? I realize name changes are not a priority, so thank you for any assistance you can give me.

Not sure if they changed it, but I remember there being some kind of rank and renown rank requirement for name changing.

As soon as you reach r40/rr40 you will be able to change your character's name once a month, with exact that one command you already mentioned.

I am above level 40 and rr 40.

I looked up the name Fourhundred on the armory and it looks like it's taken by a 1/1 Bright Wizard.

Yes, and if the issue is able to get resolved, I will delete it and try again, since I'm the one who saved the name .

Yeah, the changename command only allows for 10 characters, as opposed to the 12 character long names you can get in character creation. I'm not sure why that is, though.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out if it was an accidental oversight when the function was created and can be easily remedied, or if it was intentional and required to operate as is.
