Constant freezing in game

So past few days I am having some issues. For some reason game keeps locking up for several seconds at a time. Last night it was the worst its been with teh game locking up for over 10 seconds at a time. Havent had any issues until recently.

Any ideas on what could be causing this or how to fix? As of right now the game is unplayable.

Try using a VPN, all of my problems about logging, lagging or freezing like this ended when i start using a decent one. ( i'm using vpngate)

Had something similar.
Suggest try using /reloadui command
And also follow the steps in the thread about improving frame rate.
In the end I reinstalled all addons. It was not enough to disable them. I had to delete from addon folder and in profile.
After that the freezes went(except the occasional server lag)

I am having the same issues of late. Started within the last 3-5 days. I've made no changes on my end. No AddOns, VPNs, etc, have been changed. It does not seem to matter if I'm in PvE or RvR either...so I would guess the normal server lag (of which I never had any) is not part of the issue. The hang times are around 10 seconds and occur aprox 3-10 minutes apart. Beyond this info I just don't know. I'm in North America and hope this is something somewhere along the connection route that will be sorted out soon by the carriers.
If anyone finds a solution other than 'wait and see' please let me know.

Yes that thread is a lot of help, did not see it on your signature

I strongly recommend you follow the steps mentioned in that thread. You will find that there are addons that came with the download and even mythic ones. So even if you did not download any you have some there. The symptoms you describe matched exactly what I had. Solved with that thread and some hacking I described.

Which VPN server did you put?

I generally choose Japanese ones with 350 -400MBs
